Amity Diving Club ("we", "us", "our") operates amitydivingclub.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information, in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) ("PDPA").
1. Information We Collect
When you contact us or book a diving trip, course, or equipment rental, we may collect:
- Your name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Nationality / passport details, if required for park permits or dive certification registration
- Diving certification level and dive history, where relevant to course or trip eligibility
- Emergency contact details and medical questionnaire answers, collected via a Google Form after your booking is confirmed
- Messages you send us via WhatsApp, LINE, phone, or email
- Payment-related details necessary to process a booking. We accept payment by (1) bank transfer to our Thai bank account, (2) credit/debit card via our third-party payment provider, Payso (payso.co), or (3) cash at our shop. We do not store your full card details — card payments are processed directly by Payso
- Information collected automatically when you visit our Site or interact with our ads, as described in "Cookies and Online Advertising" below
We do not currently operate an online booking or checkout form on this Site. All bookings are made directly through WhatsApp, LINE Official Account, phone, or email. Once a booking is confirmed, we may ask you to complete a Google Form to collect additional details needed for your trip or course (such as certification level, emergency contact, and medical questionnaire).
2. How We Collect Information
We collect personal information directly from you when you:
- Message us via WhatsApp or LINE
- Call or email us
- Book a course, diving trip, or equipment rental
- Complete a Google Form we send you after your booking is confirmed
- Visit our dive shop in person
- Browse our Site or interact with our advertisements online
3. Cookies and Online Advertising
We use the following third-party tools to understand how visitors use our Site and to run advertising campaigns:
- Google Analytics (GA4) — helps us understand how visitors use our Site (e.g. pages visited, device type, general location)
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — helps us measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising, and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our Site (retargeting)
- Google Ads — helps us run and measure search advertising campaigns
These tools may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and interactions with our ads. This information is processed by Google and Meta in accordance with their own privacy policies:

- Run and measure advertising campaigns on Google and Facebook/Instagram, including showing ads to past visitors of our Site (retargeting)
- Improve our services
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Sharing Your Information
We may share necessary information with:
- MV Koon9 / Seastar Andaman and other boat operators we partner with, for the purpose of arranging your liveaboard trip
- National park authorities, where required for park entry fees and permits
- WhatsApp (Meta) and LINE Corporation, as the messaging platforms you use to contact us — please refer to their respective privacy policies for how they handle your messages
- Google, for the Google Form used to collect booking details, and for Google Analytics and Google Ads
- Meta, for Facebook Pixel and Facebook/Instagram advertising
- Payso (payso.co), our third-party payment provider, if you pay by credit or debit card. Payso processes your card details directly and in accordance with its own privacy policy and security standards; we do not see or store your full card number
- Government authorities, where required by law
We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes, other than as described above for advertising services acting on our behalf.
6. Data Storage and Security
We store customer information securely and take reasonable measures to protect it from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.
7. Your Rights Under PDPA
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information, subject to legal requirements
- Withdraw consent for the use of your information, where applicable, including opting out of advertising tracking as described above
